With the slim amount of rain we have had this past season in upstate New York and long summer days of the sun beating down on the fields, this has led to low yields on average for farms in our region. Those worried about getting hay to make it through winter should look early if they want to get it local.
Price increase in January 2021

Hay prices will increase on the first of January 2021 as it is estimated many local farms will be out of hay to sell and those who have some left will charge a premium. We very well may be sold out by then as well, so get your hay early to ensure you get it and at the regular price!
